Healing At Aldi
I had just gotten in the checkout line when a couple walked in with shirts that read "Jesus Freak" and "Power in the blood".
Their shirts are what initially caught my attention but when I noticed the bandage on the woman's right wrist and hand, I felt God wanted me to pray for her. I hadn't been in line for more than 30 seconds before I left my place in line to meet them at the end of the aisle.
I told them that I just loved their shirts and that led to hearing more about their stories and faith. Then, I asked her about her wrist.
There was a work-related accident a few years back and she has had a total of eight wrist surgeries. She told me that there isn't any bone left in the wrist; it was all metal inside and she was possibly facing surgery #9 if it didn't start improving. I asked if I could pray for her pain because Jesus wanted her well and why he went to the cross. She happily accepted. So right there in between the seasonal aisle and mexican/Italian aisle, I prayed for her. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most painful, she rated her pain level at a 7. I started to pray and she told me that her wrist felt warm! I prayed again. She began moving it around and it was crunching and popping! She said the pain was gone!
I am so thankful God used me to share the Good news even if it was in the middle of an aisle at Aldi.
